Mr Polka Magic Show

Mr Polka's Website is Revamped!

Here is the website url: http://www.mrpolkamagic.com/

So the guy on the left is JY, as known as Mr Polka. *haha* I am just kidding, Mr Polka is the one on the right. On the left is world's renowned magician Liu Qian.

So Mr Polka's new site is just super cool! Upon going into his site, you will see a handsome cartoon magician pointing a magic wand at you. This cartoon character was done by a friend of ours who is extremely good in cartoon character designing. It was drawn to resemble Mr Polka the Magician in real life!

And upon waiting for a couple of seconds, you will see another awesome image. This was taken by "Awesome Memories Photography". Feel free to check them out! Look at how happy the kids are.

Our working relationship with Mr Polka The Magician is that we will highly recommend each other's magic shows to client. Sometimes clients come back to us after hiring us for 2 to 3 times, and ask us if we have other children entertainment to offer. We will recommend them Mr Polka's Magic Show. The show's style is completely different from Mr Rabbit's Magic show, he does more sleight of hands and amazing stuffs. While Mr Rabbit's magic show is more of a highly interactive comedy magic show.

So do check him out! Cheers!

Those who don't believe in magic will never find it

Mr Rabbit had been performing for close to 9 years now, yes it's almost a decade.

The entire magic show routine changed about 9 times, basically every year we will have a new show. Honestly it feels great every time, performing for kids who loves magic so much!

To us, magic performers, it actually feels really great when we are appreciated. Judging by the happiness and amazement received by our audiences, we can tell if we've delivered a good job.

Most adults treats magic like a puzzle. They want to find the secrets of the magic, and solve/understands the trickery behind it. Children are different, they enjoy magic shows like how we adults enjoy movies and concerts. They will not perceive magic as a puzzle, but will believe that magicians have special powers. This is the way to truly enjoy magic as an artform.

Well, magicians are just actors playing the role of a magician. You do not have to break the magician's code each time you watch a magic show. Just allow yourself to "believe" in magic for the moment, and enjoy the performance!

So as the saying goes: Those who don't believe in magic will never find it

My magical weekend

We had an awesome weekends with some balloon decorations & magic shows!

Saturday and Sunday were filled with hard-work and laughter. We had to rush from venues to venues, and suddenly the weekend is over. Here are some balloon photos and magic show photos during kids parties and many other events!

For most entertainers such as magicians, our weekends are "burned" for work. But the saying goes, if you love what you do, you do not have to work for a single day. This is exactly why i choose to be a magician and an entertainer.

Weekdays

Weekdays are of course our rest days. But sometimes we are blessed to have bookings on weekdays as well. The venue for weekday magic shows will most probably be in child care centres. It's pretty chill to perform on weekday, until the back to back routines during the busy weekends.

Alright guys! It's time for me to have a good good rest.
